Scored a couple new watches on this Japan trip I’m currently on. First was the pink Venus MoonSwatch for my wife, which we picked up at the Swatch store in the Shinsaibashi district of Osaka. After a few minutes on my wrist I can confidently claim that this watch sucks because it looks and feels like plastic. And don’t get me started on that stupid strap. But it does look cool and maybe I’m just bitter because they only had the pink and yellow versions in stock. The very next day I picked up this badass Hamilton Khaki Aviation. The aluminum case, aluminum inner rotating bezel and aluminum green sunburst dial make this cool 41mm automatic watch as light as a plastic … I mean bio ceramic Swatch. After a few days on my wrist I’m still over the moon about this Hammy! See what I did there??
