Second Hour Mandala
I have been looking for a silver or gray watch that plays with sunlight and colors.
I wanted the Tissot, but at 43mm it was going to be too big and I knew the 49mm lug to lug would overhang my wrist.
Look, it’s gray and plays blue.

I was looking everywhere for something that I could be happy with and didn’t see anything.
Then at WIT, I saw a guy had got the Mandala and I thought I would give it a try.
Looks silver A quick note that I think the screw driver and spring bar tools on the left should be wrapped because mine were loose and I was concerned about scratches to the watch as soon as I opened it. Not the gasp you want when opening a new watch.
See it playing with the light and the various shades of silver and blue?
I think I can live with this and give up the search now. Signed crown The bracelet is cool with the screws, they don’t go all the way through to the other side, they are flush, seem strong and it was easy to size with the provided screw driver. One link was stiff and wouldn’t move, so that was the first one removed. It’s comfortable enough, but feels a little cheap to me. I can’t put my finger in it, maybe it’s just not my style, maybe it’s because the inner parts of the links are solid and don’t move so it’s not as silky on the wrist.
There is a lot to like here. It’s comfortable enough on the wrist, not like butter, but not uncomfortable. I can deal with it, I like it.
The color play in the light and the size is great for what I want. The bracelet is the worst part of this and I can deal with it, it’s not awful. This might be the best micro I’ve had, at the moment I can’t think of a better one. This is built really well. I’m not crazy about the price I paid, people say the specs justify the price, but I’d have preferred $400 or under. I looked for a used one, but there seem to be no flippers in first few months of it being out, which is struck me as odd. People like it so much they aren’t selling them on the used market. This is the V2, the v1 has some available, but not in this color.
I think I will be happy with this for a while.
