A French Skin Diver

Wolbrook- a French skin diver.

Wolbrook and Douglas were the same watch. Apparently Neil Armstrong had the Armstrong version as a personal watch.

As a gimmick, the Wolbrook were delivered in water as to promote their water resistance.

I picked the watch up for near nothing. It is mechanical and keeps perfect time.

The 18mm NOS tropic strap I ordered for it arrived yesterday.

Look at the cool dial with gloss turning to matte.

That's a fine watch. I remember some other brand also used the gag of coming packed in water.
Timex, right? I remember seeing that as a kid.
I like this one. Will servicing it enable you to get it wet (shower, pool) or is that not a good idea? It seems like that’s a divisive topic.

I have plenty of modern dive watches so probably not going to do it. Even a $75 watch.
