Blue rze resolute $250. https://www.reddit.com/r/Watchexchange/ ... lute_blue/
I contacted Seestern and they shipped it through a different carrier when I asked them to. I could contact RZE and see if they will.
I ordered two GSX watches with the 4S15 from Japan, they were shipped together so the dollar amount was higher. DHL held the package and charged me a fee, if I remember right, it was for taxes. They didn’t contact me for a week though and they added on storage costs that were obscene, it was more then the taxes. I saw the email in the evening, so in the morning I got online and went to pay the fee and fines, it had gone up over $50.00 since the night before. Lucky for me, I got a hold of someone who waived the storage fees and I was able to just pay the taxes. She saw that I hadn’t been contacted about the package being held for over a week, so it was impossible for me to take care of the fine and fees.
I was going to just let the package go back to the seller, but I found out that they would have to pay the fees and fines before DHL would ship it back. I didn’t think that was fair so I dealt with it. The seller told me that in the future, they wouldn’t use DHL unless someone requested it or it was their only choice.
I got online and saw others had the same problem with DHL, it seems they make a tidy profit on their unreasonable “storage” fees. With my experience and the horror stories of others, I run the other way when I see DHL.
Maybe it was a one time mess up, but after seeing others telling the same story, I steer clear because I just don’t want to stress over dealing with them again.
