New Sinn 556 A RS

My new watch
Sinn 556 A RS

Thank you, Lords, for assisting me in making my decision. Your thoughts on the watch/transaction that I inquired about influenced me to purchase a new one instead of a 17-year-old model for $500 cheaper. For a long time, I've admired this watch style. I was planning on getting a Seiko-Spork-SINN-style watch at one point.
I won't bore you with the details or a comprehensive review. There are numerous reviews, comments, threads, photos, and videos available on the interweb. I was thinking about getting a Damasco DA36 or a Sinn 656. The Damasko appealed to me more since the hands are, in my opinion, the right length. I think the Sinn hands are too short, but I couldn't find either of those watches new.

I went for the 556 on the fine link bracelet, and it's rather comfortable. I've had it all of 6 days, and I'm really digging it!

I bought it at https://www.watchbuys.com/

They are an AD online here for Sinn.
They were great! From the online chat on their Website, to the pre-sale Phone Verification, and Confirmation, to the packaging, etc.
All First Class! The watch did come with 2 Hex Bracelet Wrenchs, and also a signed Springbar tool.
And the Date/Time was correct :)

Very pleased with Watchbuys. I got a good feeling from the start!

Thank you once again, Lords, here's she is:

That's killer. Great looking watch. If you can't read the time on that one you're legally blind.

Bonus marks for not titling your thread "Forgive Me, for I have Sinned"!
Thanks man!

And, actually, not legally blind, but I had cataract surgery in March, on one eye. The other eye will probably get done in December. So having a watch that I can read, well that really helps!

And I know what you mean, lots of Funny Fuckers with the play on the name! I think I read them all too.

Thanks man, good to be back.
I actually emailed Watchmann, and they didn't think they would ever see another (DA36). He tried to sell me a Chrono, but I wanted a simple 3-hander.
I didn't know about the other links, good info as usual Sir!

Thanks again 🙂

Killer new watch !! Great choice.

Shame I didn't know you were thinking about a Damasko.
Would have, could have, should have sold you this pampered watch.... though on a factory strap/deployant.

Thank you, Sir, and ^^That's my fault, I should have reached out to the lord's better.
That's a sick looking watch!
And just the little things, like the hands are perfect length, just love that one. That might be the winner of the "most legible watch award" too!
