Picked one up in St. Thomas

Post by Datsun240Z71 » February 25th 2021, 7:37am

Kind of an impulse buy, but could not resist after thinking about it for a few days. The shops in St. Thomas are just unbelievable and the selection is phenomenal. Got this one from Little Switzerland which has several locations in the Caribbean.

Omega is hard to beat. Been to several Little Switzerlands and always an amazing array of merchandise. Wonder how Covid is affecting them.

I agree with you about St Thomas. GF has a Movado that no one locally could change the battery in as they needed special tool, press, ect and sending it to Movado was about $80. Old guy who was half blind and working outside at a table in the mall changed it in minutes for $10. Talking to him he really knew his watches, not many around like that any more.
NRPI here.

“Begin at the beginning," the King said, very gravely, "and go on till you come to the end: then stop.”
