The Watchlords.com forum (click HERE) offers freewheeling, uncensored, no-holds barred conversations about everything from top Swiss brands to rip-off home shopping network junk. It’s completely unbridled (people swear, so if you don’t like curse words, this isn’t for you), but it’s also one of the most refreshing experiences we’ve checked out on the web – there are a lot of unscrupulous dealers and brands, and this site doesn’t accept any guff from anyone.

The Watchlords site was formed about 11 years ago by disgruntled refugees from some crappy watch forums. Together, the members have created a one-of-a-kind experience that’s unlike anything else on the web (there are obviously both professional writers and watch experts among the contributors). One of the best things about Watchlords is that the site really lays into those horrifically insipid watch forums as well as some of the worst business practices of the watch industry. If you don’t enjoy this place, you’re either a blue nose or something akin an Invicta fan boy (and heaven knows there’s just no talking to them – most of them run screaming from Watchlords after not being able to deal with informed people righteously pointing out that many of their watches are Chinese garbage), because this place is a hoot.

Oh bullshit! From watchlords to watchcrunch is a big difference and one of the two goes back to the watchgeek era. Different platforms and different ways of looking at things but you did a jingles. By that I mean you attacked this forum for no reason other than you were upset at someone you attacked as not being a "real" watch collector and they put you back in place.

You whined at BDWF about that site, run by very intelligent and informed people who care about watches, being "owned" by this forum. Just to be clear for your future lurking here (wait, I banned you), BDWF is run by others, and WL only shares a server with the site. WL does not run BDWF and never will but that did not stop you from trying to paint BDWF as bad folks. I tried to deal with your issues over the years but even I get annoyed by whiners. From a PM about my saying something bad about your home state as well as insulting me in that PM to your thin skin about anyone saying they disagreed with you. I have a PM where you called me a bitter old man because I banned a faux aviator and another where you demanded I ban codguy and a couple of others because you think they are bad people.

Do you remember Kevin? Perhaps not the brightest person through no fault of his own but just because he made an idiotic comment about dating your daughter, you went ballistic and demanded he be banned as well. While I can admire someone standing up for family, for someone in the medical profession you have pretty think skin and a weird understanding of the concept of a disability such as the one Kevin has. After your BS, Kevin asked to be removed from the forum because he upset you and you were attacking him constantly in PMs and in posts. Well kevin left and so did a couple of others because of you. They got tired of your bullshit and whining. I will try to get them back into the fold now that you are posting away and a top contributor at your new home.



I hope you stay safe, keep enjoying watches but do it elsewhere.

And for more fun and giggles, why have comments made at the watchcrunch facebook and youtube sites been deleted? Let me guess, those comments must of had bad words, bad thoughts and politics in them. The comments dissing WC at facebook are also being deleted. Reminds of watchgeeks.

I'm a dummy but in the OP's link there is no reference to WL. Am I just missing it?

It takes a lot to be a member here as you know. You have to at least like watches whether you own them or not. You must realize that not everyone will agree with you nor you them. It is the internet and most do not know the other person posting nor can they read the expressions of their face or body language when they post. Honestly, unless someone calls you a flat out loser or liar it may annoy you or even piss you off but it should never taint your over all view of a forum. And to whine about having mods to defend you and keep a civil discourse which is a matter of opinion by the way is geekish. And it all goes back to this recent thread below -

I have come to the conclusion that you can take the forum away from the geek but you cannot take the geek out of the geek. TB would comment many times about "just channel surfing and landing on the invicta channel". Ok, he liked to watch the programs, not an issue with me or anyone else that I can remember. Made for some interesting topics but just once I wish he would have admitted he still shopped there. Oh well, I wish fluff the best in his future endeavors.
