Well, there's something to be said about truth in advertising as to origin.

But that's about all I can offer. The specific model shown is described as having both a "German High Hardness Mineral Glass" crystal - whatever the hell that is and a "flat sapphire crystal". That seems, well, a bit like bullshit or perhaps confusion but more likely both.

As an aside, assigning discounts to a product which hasn't been sold anywhere at any time for full price is a tactic employed mostly by folks like IWG and Stauer - neither of which are highly regarded here.

The website at first blush appears to be, if not designed by confused individuals, targeted toward rubes.
