Ditto. Most of my macros look like Michael J. Fox took 'em. That second pic has some real artistic shit going on with it.

I have the Sony a65, short and long lenses, add on macro, a photo tent and my pictures still suck. I am proof you can spend money on a camera and photo supplies and still suck.
I now use an IPhone.
I enjoy seeing and reading your guys photos and tips though. I just can’t seem to make it work for me.
