Omega Speedmaster's newest bracelet
The Omega Speedmaster is one of the collection staples that eluded me. Every time I look at them I am confused by all the models and differences.
Today, my friend Northwest Guy stopped by with a spanking new, just out of the box newest Speedmaster so I could assist him with removing three links.
The newest model is the one I want, I've decided. The bracelet touches are so nice and the new movement hacks to allow proper time setting.
Back to the bracelet. . . It has two end cap screws and a pin that must have internal collars as it pops in place.
I used a removed pin the remove the other pins and reset the pins before replacing the screwed in caps.
When you do these, make sure you have a new precision screwdriver as the screw caps are TIGHT! Also, be sure to apply pressure to prevent the screwdriver blade from jumping.
