Once again, the Swiss Federal Government's Corporate Records Website returns no entries for S. Coifman or Potger Pietri and although Invicta returns 3 matches, two of the companies are in real estate and finance the the third is a building cleaning service.

Read his response more closely. He claims that Invicta does not own the companies in their name but my information says there are NO factories owned by Invicta nor any group associated with them. If they care to dispute that fact, I will post any information to the contrary here. Up to them but bullshit is bullshit no matter how you try to dance around it.

His comment about "private company" completes the "fuck you consumer" attitude by this Invicta employee. Until numbers and addresses are disclosed, any claims made by Jim Skelton or Mongo Kid about Invicta should be taken with a "Where's the beef" & "Show me" eye.

Typical "Private Company, I don't need to tell you shit" answer. The fact is they don't own any facilities in Switzerland, but they can keep telling you this, because they are not a public company and thereby having to prove it.
Invicta will continue to lie about facilities, materials, specifications, etc. all hiding behind their private company.
Again as it was stated som many times byt the Geeks, if they really had facilities in Switzerland, you would know exactly where they were located ad nauseum by the Wino and Lalo.

I can not believe this type of reponse is acceptaple to even the most loyal geeks. It's the same as saying shut up and drink, we'll let you know what you need to know.

If they had any physical factories in Switzerland, they would market it to the max. Pics, videos, addresses, the works.

Most companies that treat their customers in this manner are out of business pretty quickly but Invicta seems to hang on. Go figure.

What I dont understand is doesn't he kind of rather contradict his boss in that statement? Doesn't his boss say that they own factories in Switzerland where the Reserve watches are made?

If they are not owned in the name of "Invicta" then they are not "Invicta" factories or am I missing something there.

The response by AN is awesome...put the drunkard right in his place and there's probably more to come. MD 20/20 is such an ahole it's pathetic and AN's response about IWG and Croton's Nicolet namesake is right on the money IMHO.

You're right. There was a 2003 interview:

“Our new factory will be ready in April 2003, and it is located about 100 steps from the Breguet factory.”

I'm starting a thread w/ some of the chronology gathered from here and there.

What I am saying is the following:

#1. Invicta has facilities in Switzerland as well as other parts of the world.

#2. Invicta builds their own product. But, as is the case with other watch companies (including other Swiss "premium brands"), we use 3rd party help as far as supplying certain parts and/or components.

The point of my post concerning Armand was to help clarify the confidentially that exists in the industry in regards to why it was that folks seemingly could not find a Swiss facility that had the name of "Invicta" stuck to it. I tried to be as blunt as I could without crossing the boundaries that I have. Some got it. Some did not. Either way, Invicta has Swiss based facilities as those located in other parts of the world.

I beleive this is his way of saying, we buy gray market (through a third party) movements and other items
