Appears someone at Geeks is listening and watching. Invicta has already started the backpedaling as usual. Looks like he also stepped on our buddy Strutn's dick in the process of his usual ineptness

So did I!

I included Hershey's Kisses and Fuzzy Bunny for the Chief WatchLard.

I just LOVE those poor guys; they suffer a lot you know?!

Different Wording In Presentation

Tonight on SNBC, a "sandstone" dial watch was presented. During the presentation, the term "Sandstone Material" was used verbally by Jill of Invicta.

It appears Invicta is aware of the controversy and that people are questioning what the dial really is. By saying the dial is "Sandstone Material', it appears Invicta is now saying this is a man made "material" dial, with sandstone as part of the composition. Previously, the "sandstone" dials were being described as genuine natural sandstone.

I would guess the dials are composition materials, with sandstone as one of the materials. This fits the description given by one of the previous posters, when they mentioned that "goldstone", a man made glass composition, might be the material being used on the dials.

Invicta will come forward and explain what the dials really are and the controversy will end there. However, these dials should never have been touted as "genuine natural sandstone" in description and presentation during sales or

Strutn is expanding his horizons, just recently joined XMT. Maybe he'll join here, so he can be properly thanked.

I still can't believe it when I read these posts at watchgeeks defending what invicta is doing. Are all these geeks buying this bullshit. I wonder how many of them own shares of ownership in the Brooklyn Bridge. For God sakes will some of you geeks put down the Kool Aid.

This is epic.

I'm still ROTFL @ Cubic Zirconia Jim feverishly googling his ass off and ended up at a competitor's site, then using them as proof. Yeah, point everyone to another TV shopping site as proof. Idiot.

To me it's rather simple, don't market a cheap watch as having a sandstone dial without mentioning that it's not really a slice of polished sandstone. The two don't make sense. CYA, idiots. You've been doing this for how long? You should know better. This is the 21st century. People know better.

Funny how Eyal in his response doesn't mention anything about how the different colors are produced or how come it's so reflective.

I was near Red Rocks outside of Denver the other day and the surrounding rock around the amphitheater is all red sandstone, of course none of it glitters the way the watch dials do, if it did they would never be able to get the concert goers to leave the venue after a show.

Don't be surprised when Jill "The Material Girl" Sommerstein, and Michael "The Hardest working man in Show Business" Turdling start referring to the Meteorite Dials as "Meteorite Material".

Love those WG "threats." If we ever showed up en masse at a WGGT they'd scatter like roaches. Not to do anything nasty, mind you..just talk about watches. REAL watches.

Still a dream of mine.

I'd sack or suspend his chubby booty for that. Shows what a real-world geek he really is.

Someone should email Slop what Jumblo said and maybe they'll drop the hammer on that douche.

Actually someone should email HSN and tell them Shops boi is sending folks to their site and suggesting HSN is selling fake shit.
After all, no ham-wristed louts complained when all watches were 34mm - no cries of "looks like a little girl's watch on my wrist!" Like King Canute on the beach, that's where I draw the line - come what may.
