glass=sandstone.........Im vendicated.........
What is Slop NBC'S liability in all this? THE mgt. must be aware of all this deception on the part of Infecta. I caught part of the watch time show today with Jill and a female host. They were still both praising the quality of that shit along with the great customer service that Incrapta has. They were even pushing a womens Classique with diamond chips. All this and the lies still go on. When and what will it take to stop this fraud ?

I think you are correct. Eyal responded with a reply that there is no way to refute at this point. I think the post went up too soon. The material needs to be more thoroughly analyzed and the results available as documentation. If it consists of metal flakes suspended in colored class then we have something to talk about. If the material is actually made from sandstone grains then it's case closed.

No it is not "cased closed"
The lying fucks marketed the "sand stone" as being expensive and rare. A natural "stone" that is carefully cut and polished.
By there own admissions it is a log of glass with sparkely shit in it. If real sand stone was ground up to make the crap(complete bullshit) the sparkles would not be in the shapes of triangles and octagons.
Call it what it is. Aventurine glass or gold stone.
Re: glass=sandstone.........Im vendicated.........
Ok, peeps, there is a Geologist who runs a rock collector shop down the road. If he has the "right" credentials, I'll have him give me a letter. Also there is fairly famous gemologist who cuts his own stones in town. Same with him........Those are the only resources I have up here.....so, whenever I get the POS back from SloMo.......I'll go there.
Re: glass=sandstone.........Im vendicated.........
just catching up with this drama after getting out of the office today. Wow, pages and pages of posts over at WG's. I skimmed through most of the posts and came to the conclusion that people like Mr. Blue, Strutn, and NYCruza, should just refrain from posting when it comes to any subject requiring an IQ over 60. They only hurt an already sinking Site.

Folks please stop taking shots at each other and arguing over this. Neither side of this argument knows anything about how any watch dial is made, let alone one made of materials like this... so you're fighting one another for no reason, based on assumptions. Unless you have stood in a factory watching these dials being made, you are offering nothing more than your opinion... not facts.
I don't want to see friendly members becoming enemies over this topic. Please.
If you feel the need to be "right" and continue the fight, do so in PMs, no more on this thread.
Thank you.
Eyal called me a little while ago, and both of us want more info from his factory and source, so he is digging deeper. I have also reached out to a couple of people outside of Invicta to see what they say about THEIR use of this material as well. I just want everyone who bought a sandstone dial watch to know what they've got. I could care less about the blame game, who's right, who's wrong... I just want everyone to be satisfied with an answer and enjoy their watches again.
I will keep you posted.
I apologize for all of this confusion, and I wish this had been brought up in a different manner so that BOTH SIDES could have presented FACTS before the allegations, assumptions, and angry words of distrust began to fly.

Re: glass=sandstone.........Im vendicated.........
What ahot mess this is turning into. Lets hope it won't get swept under the rug, and forgotten, like every other Invicta fiasco. I'm with Ken on this. I am willing to contribute some money to fund a ceritied examination that will be publicly backed by the expert hired.
Re: glass=sandstone.........Im vendicated.........
oh, and believe the dial itself looks to be in sheet form and merely punched out. none the back surface had mill marks on it......just blue paint.
Re: glass=sandstone.........Im vendicated.........
I just read a bunch of that thread that Watchdorks.net posted.
Thanks, BTW for doing that, and I love that new (or is it new?) Domain name!
But, in post #233, a Geek made one of the most reasonable posts in that whole thing.

There are numerous, in fact most college professors are allowed and do consult on the side. I would look for a Ph.D that would provide a simple analysis in writing. Case closed.

Hell, they procreate WHILE they vote... or maybe it was just rumor that Mongo Kid was seen humping the ballot box while writing in "Eyal Lalo for president".

The thread is closed for now, but it has 506 posts and well over 15000 views. A lot of people are reading and perhaps even beginning to think outside the cheese box.

Folks, I said it before, now I'll enforce it.... stop taking shots at each other and arguing. The next shot taken that violates the TOS, and the post gets pulled. Happens again, you get a short vacation.
Enough is enough.

Now while it is hard to argue with a random guy who pops open his watch and sets a match to his dial to prove his dial isn't a stone (huh??? I'm still trying to figure that one out), who obviously has the training to post about it and completely discredit an entire company, I offer this as a counter.............

Fellow Geeks,
Some of the bickering is getting old to say the least. As Jim points out, taking shots at each other is simply not proper or civil. This is beginning to sound like our politicians defending their turf for their own personal reasons. We should be able to bring up a legitimate question about a concern or an issue, in this case whether sandstone is a natural element in the dial of a watch or an enhanced element and go through a process of discovery to find out the answer. There is no conspiracy on the part of Eyal, Lior, or any of the manufacturers to "pull one over on us". In marketing speak everyone takes liberties and in the whole scheme of things, if sandstone is a natural element on the dial or an enhanced element this is not a deal breaker for most of us. Marketing is a fact of business life and one that we should all realize. For the record, almost all the gemstones we see today are enhanced in some way for color or durability. Lets wait to see what the facts are before we treat each other with less respect than we deserve. After all, the brotherhood of the watch must live on and proper!
