Estimated timeline of Invicta Swiss Factories

Invicta CH S.A

Vallee de Joux, Switzerland

2. From: Montres Claude Meylan ([email protected]) Sent: Mon 5/25/09 3:12 AM

Monsieur,
We use to work with the company Invicta in 2003, so some of the Invicta watches were made in our company. We do not work anymore with him. I am sorry, I can not tell you were the are made now!

Avec mes meilleures salutations

(Note: I have private communication from Brequet saying 100 paces from them is Claude Meylan. Its exact address is the one Invicta gives as the address of its own factory.)

“New facility” and “new factory” imply this is a new building, rather than an existing one bought and remodeled. But that could be splitting hairs, esp. w/ English not being Eyal’s 1st language.

4. From a 2005 Invicta brochure:

Invicta CH S.A
Route de l’hotel de ville 2
1344 L’Abbaye De Lac de Joux
Vallee de Joux, Switzerland
Fax: (021) 841-14-20

5. 5/09, nous defions on WG:
Invicta bought S. Coifman and Potger-Pietri in 2003. Shortly thereafter,it wasannounced on air that the model Invicta he was showing at the time was the first Invicta to be made in the Coifman factory. So without confirmaiton from Invicta, and based only on logical assumption, it would seem reasonable that some Swiss Made Invictas are made at the Coifman facility. We weren't able to confirm one way or the other whether the same is true for Potger-Pietri.

5/09: same thread: “Invicta purchased two Swiss factories in 2003 and have been doing a lot of work through them (like the Reserve Collection).

“Upon moving primary operations from Switzerland, Invicta has continued to design watches, but have outsourced manufacturing to third parties in Switzerland and the Far East.”
Source - Another Watch Forum

6. 2007 "Interview" of JS

Does he know where the Invicta factories are??? Where are most of the non-Swiss made branded watches manufactured??

JS: "Invicta lists the address for their Swiss factory. They also own the S. Coifman Swiss factory as well….”
Source - another watch forum / board

Maybe the address was on the site spring before last, but it's sure not now.

7. Invicta Montres S.A. closed in 2007?
The question is if Invicta is a real Swiss company, not where are the watches made. You can ask The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry, and the answer will be INVICTA MONTRES S.A. closed down in March 2007, so it is no more a Swiss registered brand.

8. 5/09, a WG:

I have often heard during Invicta presentations that they are made in "their" factory in Switzerland. That could still be the fact even though the address given by an invicta employee isn't the one, as per your investigtion. Wonder why he didn't include that address in his response to this thread, instead of questioning the motives for the curiosity? [Note:technical brand manager gave the Claude Meylan address.]

So what does all of this mean? It means that Invicta and the lalo have been lying for at least 15 years or more. Buy a Wenger, Tissot, Swiss Army, Hamilton, Seiko or almost anything else and you end up with a real watch. Buy a post 2006 invicta and get shit and lies.

Quite interesting, at least to those of us who revel in Euyal's mendacity. While I always suspected the Invicta crash to dismal revoltingness dates to around the crash of the economy, around 2009-2010, when they really started to dumb-down their wartches, this would indicated that it happened rather earlier.

As Invicta continues to refer to their watches as "Swiss Made" at least up until the other night when I watched one of their Urine shows and pointed and laughed, this would mean (if true) that Nvicter is made, under contract, by one of many Swiss companies who make plenty of other fashion brands, assuming that Invicter can be considered fashion, which is a stretch.

Now, there is nothing particularly wrong with a Swiss company contracting out its production capacity and maybe even design teams for fashion watches; it happens all the time, and indeed it's probably a good way for certain Swiss companies to keep production up and people employed when they face some hard times, now that the Chinese have apparently run out of money. Also, while the Urine grifters continue to harp on the Swiss Madeness of their Nvicters, they have pulled back on the entire Invicter Swiss Factory bullshit, which certainly conjures (!) images of a big Bauhaus-type production facility with an equally big I on the roof, all painted yellow.

What does all this mean? It means that Nvicters are still shit, and that anybody who believes their shit is a hapless asshole.

The hotness, indeed.

Quite so. Interestingly, this is so indicative of how Turd head managed to impart some accurate (if self-serving) information while, at the same time, looking like a fucking jerkoff doing it. Instead of simply answering the question with a simple answer, Turdling spends several paragraphs, at least 200 words, and what must have been a long stretch (for him) without belching up a stomach-full of putrid Aqua Velva all over his keyboard, just to sound like an arrogant asshole Who Knows Everything But Decides To Make a Member Feel Small.

It was like his unwatchable (and largely unwatched) Turdling After Dark livestreams--Mongo could spend tens of minutes blathering on about mainsprings or something, never getting to a point, and making the viewer Pray For Death rather than listening to another word.

Again, it's interesting that somebody as smart as Eayall Lawson could stoop to hiring such an absurd load as Turd head for Nvicter's on-screen talent; Turd head, with his drooping, beaten-by-life visage, his lumpy, alcohol-soaked body, his total lack of personality apart from being a bully (even when he smiled, which was talkfully rare, he looked like a simpering, lobotomized mental patient) combined would have, to a rational company, precluded him from showing up on TV. Nor did Turd head have any talent to speak of, other than perhaps whipping up a pretty bracing jailhouse brew in a steel toilet.
