I agree, just thinking there is fault to spread around...both the Shop and Invicta, me thinking DD wants to make sure everyone involved gets spank, rather than make it a finger pointing session.

I find myself getting excited once again that this could be the last nail in the coffin for invicta. How can snbc claim a disclaimer on this one since they are out in front with the lies and deception on the behalf of Eyal. I hope they all burn. By the way Iv'e decided to put Tim Temple in the same category as Skelton and Eyal. He can lie with the best of them.

It's good to dredge all this shit up for the newbs today. Just last night Master Wing was showing off an Android Aragon that supposedly had a 7750 movement in it--now, I didn't bother watching the show, possibly because I was searching XHamster for some old Aunt Peg videos, but no doubt a whole lot of hot air was expelled about the movement, and how only top drawer companies could get their hands on it etc. etc.

But it's all the same smoke and mirrors. The same with any ETA movements that happen to find their way into TeeVee wartchs, the same with DD; every so often some of these movements are bought from brokers, or "found in the vault," or fall off the back of a fucking truck. Then, Eyal or Wing or whoeverthefuck will case 'em up in Hong Kong, make a big deal out of 'em, and use 'em as loss leaders to sell what really rakes in the dough--the third-rate slave-shop oversized horseshit that the WITs love and masturbate to.

With the benefit of hindsight some stuff comes into marginally better focus. DD stating that they never sold to Invicta is true and their North American rep would have no knowledge of where they came from or where they went. In 2018 the plausible surmise is that they were purchased by Heromex to be pounded into Eyal's mess of a watch.

The instructions received from DD were in French, German and English. As a consequence the guy with the hammer knew nothing about the spacer.

Further the cases, being churned out by the million in a Mongolian cave were drilled with pusher holes aligned with the crown as they didn't know that add on chrono modules need an offset between crown and pushers.

As a result they all bind up accompanied by an unfortunate grinding sound and the jettisoning of one or more parts.

Eyal is in a snit because Heromex is telling him they were merely building to his specs and since Eyal accepts responsibility for absolutely fucking nothing starts blaming UPS, DD, ETA, Aunt Peg and whoever else is in his immediate orbit.

Eyal and his zombies can't very well come out and say that Swiss parts were mishandled by their Chinese jobber so they attempt to drag DD into it - which, of course, DD resists. Even Millionsmart buys 15% of their movements from Switzerland and the dials are marked "Swiss Made" because that's what it says on the purchase order.

This is probably pretty accurate; the Swiss tend to sell their shit to anybody whose check doesn't bounce. While the whole "exclusive" thing tends to sell well among the Geeks, especially when stroked by Jawbone or Turd head or one of their ilk, there are plenty of these to go around. While ETA made a big deal a few years ago about not selling to non-Swatch clients, those production lines are going to move, and there's always going to be extra stock laying around, and I doubt that DD is any different. Let's not forget that even a fairly exclusive brand, like Rolex, manufactures over a million movements a year, ETA is easily well above that, and ETA (or DD) isn't going to have those extra movements laying around, not when there's a salivating Chinaman standing at the back door with a briefcase full of cash, looking to buy.
