Probably a very interesting article but I couldn't get past the italicised 'engine'. Shame.

Funny how tiny the factory is and there doesn't seem to be any industrial plant visible. Is it more of an assembly facility?

That pic is the Headquarters in Le Crêt-du-Locle. Per the article, they have various factories elsewhere. Movement blanks factory (Gurofa GmbH, based in Glashütte, Germany). Electroplating and decoration business (Technicor, based in Les Breleux, Switzerland) and bar-turning company (Helios, based in Bévilard, Switzerland).

1.5 million movements in 2022.
