David and I often correspond, passing discoveries and info to each other.
After posting about an 1890 self winding wristwatch on the NAWCC and Watchuseek, articles and patents I discovered were sent to David by me, and he sent an 1890 advert, showing the manufacturer.
And this is what happened with this info.

Found the pic of the G-P trench watch I posted in a couple'a other threads at his site along with some great stuff on hallmarks I'd never seen before - figures you guys would know each other.
