Deconstruction Grand Seiko

Post by koimaster » February 24th 2021, 7:28pm

A simple GMT system with the main hour hand adjusted on the first pulled out setting of the winding crown. A classically designed watch with an unusual casing screw with independent seals designed to render the watch, water resistant.

Incorporating the caliber 9S86. Power reserve 55 hours. The GMT hand can be used as a dual time indicator as the time continues to mark local time. Date set at 3 o’clock. ... aYaudYF1XQ

GS content always give me a boner
Meritocracy: the privilege, wealth and advancement of those who chose their parents wisely.
Capitalism: a cult that promised to do good for the worst reasons.
Nationalism: a profound longing to go back to a past that never existed.

Jebus. The quality is obsessive. Every part more or less perfect, even those that aren't often seen.

Great read- The GS models are indeed haute watchmaking at its finest.
