Luminor Due line

Post by koimaster » August 13th 2019, 9:57am

The collection is smaller, starting at 38mm for watches aimed at ladies but might appeal to men too, and slimmer.

But they remain Panerai to their core, with P.900 manufacture movements — all automatics for the Due family — housed in cushion-shaped cases with their distinctive crown guards.

The line launched last year, and has been expanded with a host of additional models for 2019 in 38mm to 45mm sizes. Cases come in titanium, steel and Panerai’s Goldtech alloy.

Rubbish, for a Panerai. 30m WR, and a press-in back imitating a screw-in one.
On the plus side, they're only ten and a half grand, which is fantastic value for money, and Watch Time's review version was 11-12 sec a day fast. So you get stunning accuracy too. They only question remains - can I pump this watch on the internet enough so that I have to pay more to a grey dealer to get one?

Yeah. That it's "affordable" compared to other Panerais is as much of a consolation as one finding out that a lass he cohabits with has the clap, syphillis and chlamydia...but thank Heavens she doesn't have HIV.

Chlamydia is a funny word. I once wrote a spec novel (alas, never published) about American big business, with a character named Jordan Klimidia as the director of HR.
I find tv watches to be like the guys who raise their truck you need a fricken ladder to get in. It’s a attempt to look cool... that’s all.
