People are losing their minds about the way Bezos wore his Speedy in ‘space’, but the truth may be even sadder

Over a quarter of a million people agreed with meme accounts like the one below when they declared that Bezos’ NATO over outer suit style was “the most f*cked up thing” he has ever done. The truth, however, may be even sadder (or cuter, depending on your viewpoint) than just an unfortunate styling faux pas. Which, by the way, this is not. This is how proper astronauts wear their watches over their space suits. Totally legit.

Omega announced their Blue Origin Spacemaster today. It sold out in 30 minutes.

If I had an Invicta watch case full of money and my own space company, damn straight I'd be the first one to ride in the dang thang.

Without reading the article, I can think of a number of reasons to wear your watch on the outside of your jumpsuit. If also wearing gloves, it would be difficult to pull back the cuff. that's assuming you aren't accelerating; in which case you would not be able to move your arm much at all.

And who wouldn't want to check the time while blasting into space.

But Jeebus, lose that cowboy hat.

I couldn’t find it on their website. Looks like the 6300 dollar moon watch with a blue origin Velcro strap.
Any idea what they were selling for?
