49" LCD TV - new in box $300

Post by koimaster » March 5th 2019, 10:26am

Just purchased a new OLED TV last evening with an expected delivery date of 3/15. Part of the purchase price was the LCD tv which was included in the price. So, since I only need the 65" to replace my existing 5 year old 65" Sharp Aquos this is for sale at a lower price than what you can buy it for even online.

Since I do not think anyone wants to pay shipping I think someone in the NW might be a better fit for the TV,

Nice. My next TV will probably be an LG. Was that the brand of the 65" also?

Yeah, shipping has killed many a deal.
NRPI and Shitheel here.

If I am to be insulted I must first value your opinion.

Would shipping be under a hundred dollars?

I was thinking. How would it go over as a raffle here at $5.00 a chance? If someone were to buy $100.00 worth of tickets and pay $100.00 shipping, that may not be so bad. Once you recovered your three hundred, the rest could go into charity or to the forum for maintenance.
In memory of TB/Phfluff, since he isn’t here to continue to give his praise, I will share it for him.

UPS ground would be cheapest and less than $100.

I purchased a LG OLED tv. They make the displays for the Sony OLED which is 2x as much using the same electronics.

I am looking forward to it. I have been looking at purchasing one for the last year but I spent over $50k remodeling the house so luxuries have been on hold. On the other hand, the new solid wood floors are great to look at, the new roof keeps me dry and the rest of the work done was long overdue. Since Carol passed away I had new windows installed and a few other upgrades but it is a hard thing to do. My kids got me to get off my ass to get it done using the "Mom would want you to" gambit. Works every time it seems.

I just arranged to have Video only come out to do the install after it arrives. I am not going to take down the other 65 inch and then set up everything again. My grandkids and their friends still are awed by the grandpa who has roku, X-box, an i7 computer, blue ray and a Denon receiver and sound system all hooked up to his TV. Luckily they do not go into the office I have at the house where I keep my very old school Sansui 2000A, BSR turntable, Craig 8 track and Akai Reel to Reel. Picked them up overseas many, many years ago. Never have given them up.
