Road to the Paris Olympics

Post by smellody » May 28th 2024, 7:20am

Breakdancing? BREAKDANCING?

No disrespect to you Lords who break, but what the fuck does breakdancing have to do with sports? Let alone Olympics?

We ate going to identify the best breakdancer on this planet. . .WTF?

Is this the Olympic Commission's attempt to get in touch with 1980's youth who are now in their fifties?

Maybe I'm all wet . . . Discuss.

They show cornhole tournaments, pickleball, and cheeerleading competitions on TV, so hey, why not?

Will not be watching.
Cornhole 🌽? Now that is a sport I can stand behind.

I'm mean as long as it is co-ed. Not that there is anything wrong with the other.

Hehehehe!

I don't watch the Olympics because there's no cricket and no football, and the tennis is not as good as a grand slam. Having said that, the silly sports that nobody likes and nobody wants to watch and hence are not even close to commercially viable also need an event. So in this context I think break dancing - it's a sport now? - will fit right in.

I looked up the term "cornhole" in the Urban Dictionary (the only dictionary that matters!) and, while a few entries describe tossing a bag--presumably filled with corn--through the hole on a board, the vast majority of definitions go like this one:

Cornhole
The act of gently inserting your well lubed erect cock into your womans well rimmed and squeeky clean anus. Making sure plenty of lube has also been applied to her sphincter as well. With a gentle push, once the crown of your cock has stretched her sphincter, you allow her bung muscle to relax and then start a gradual entering of her turdcutter. Once fully in her turdcutter, you begin a slow, short pumping motion until you build up to a full length cock stabbing penetration of her dumphole. Stroking as fast as possible, while holding on to her hips until you reach the point of no return. You finish off, balls deep in her rectum. Pumping your gooey man juice deep in her crapper, coating the walls of her colon.

Or, in many cases, it defines male homosexual congress, viz:

cornhole
1) When one man takes his throbbing, erect penis, lubes it up then shoves it into another man's dirty dirty anus and thrusts up and down until he ejaculates.

2) The act of forcibly shoving a dry corncob into someone's anus, preferably done in the late evening hours and behind an outhouse.
1) Hey Sexy Pants! How 'bout we go back to your place and cornhole!
2) After Dan had sex with Bob's chicken, Bob and his friends grabbed Dan one night as he was coming out of the outhouse, pulled down his pants, and cornholed him.

Indeed, it appears that "cornhole" is seen by about half the residents of these United States as a slighly goofy lawn game, while the other half (which I happen to belong to) sees it as rogering some poor chap or lassie in the situpon. There's even one definition that points this out:

cornhole
Stupid game in greater Cincinnati area, where teams of two try to throw a bean bag in a hole of a wooden box. Game is played like horshoes. Makes me laugh everytime someone says it because it reminds me of butt-fucking.
Hey do your cornhole? You have no idea bitch.

Remember the ESPN channel "The Ocho" that was in the movie "Dodgeball"?

It became a real thing and now we have breakdancing in the Olympics.
ESPN8 The Ocho is an annual special program block showcasing seldom-seen obscure sports that airs on the networks of ESPN Inc.

The Ocho consists of lesser-known, unconventional and humorous sports and other competitions with some athletic or physical skill component, including roller derby, crossnet, Quidditch, trampoline dodgeball, air hockey, darts, disc golf, kabaddi, chess boxing, bed races, sport stacking, electrician games, dodge juggle, death diving, cherry pit spitting, stupid robot fighting, firefighter games, cow chip throwing, pizza dough throwing, frog jumping, cheese rolling, grocery bag competitions, extreme pogo, shuffleboard, breakdancing, and more.
The tongue-in-cheek inclusion of such sports on ESPN's schedule has led to increased exposure opportunities for those sports, which have performed well for ESPN. ESPN added a cornhole tournament airing in July 2018 outside the block, which it noted outdrew the WNBA All-Star Game, regular season Major League Baseball games and the final stage of the Tour de France among the key demographic of men age 18 to 49.[1] The inclusion of the Excel World Championships, an eSport that involves using spreadsheet programs in a competition to solve a series of problems, helped give the contest mainstream attention and credibility.

So weird to me. The original Olympics were something spectacular. Showcasing your nation's best in athletic feats.

Cornhole, dodge ball. . .what's next? American football 🏈

The original Olympics only had one race; naked mens 200m dash.

Maybe they will bring back Tug-o-war that was in the 1896-1924 Olympics.

And does anyone remember when they had SOLO synchronized swimming? Sybil ended up winning the gold but of course she thought she was in the team competition.

And, despite being the number one sport in terms of participants, bowling has never been an Olympic sport.

I am genuinely surprised Pickleball isn't on tap this summer.
