And as Cod has pointed out a couple of times there at Mr.Rebates as well as ebates

I'll roll the dice if you guys don't razz me.

If you were considering a $399 combat as an example, with a 15% discount that should drop the price to the $350 range. Use Mr.rebates at 2-3% rebate and it gets to the $340 range.

I purchased the same one Foghorn has this morning from an ebay seller who wanted almost $500 for it but took $425 including shipping. I will not purchase anything from evine although my daughter still does (shoes and some jewelry).

the combat sub you have on mesh is a good looking watch. The airman is not bad but I would want a pre-lalo version.

A lot of the airman models are recent reissues of vintage styles that haven't been available for some time. Great buys at current pricing.

I bought my Combat AM when I heard Invicta had bought Glycine so I could get one before Invicta fucked with them. I assume that is the same concern others have.

I guess that's my point, has Invicta fucked with them?

I haven't seen any evidence that they have. So Glycine is still Glycine the same as it ever was. Seems like the brand has benefited from Invicta ownership. They've sold a shit ton of watches lately and have received a lot of exposure to regular folk who wouldn't have otherwise even thought about the brand. I get it, some people prefer not to give their money to Lalo. But just think of those poor kids in Switzerland whose parents now earn a living from the mighty Invicta Watch Group.

Post Invicta:

So far, nearly 3 years in, it is nothing but a positive.
Still Swiss Made.
Improved distribution.
More realistic pricing.
No loss of quality in fit and finish.
Re-introduction of classic models

Pre Invicta

Poor marketing and distribution
Stagnation
Unrealistic pricing
Poor mangement

As we speak today Glycine is offering quality watches,Swiss Made, Swiss movement, and classic re-issues.
