Where is this, the Glycine site?

Tellin' ya - Glycine is about to become S. Coifman. I mean, it's a sure bet.

Except that Glycine actually existed before Invicta took over.

But of course. My point is that Glyine is gonna be heralded as "a major Swiss brand," the Coifman scam ... with Flame Fusion, Chinese builds, and lower prices points that will make those V-Payz all the easier. I keep reading on other forums that "Invicta will probably leave Glycine alone." Oh yeah? Glycine is actually listed at the Invicter website now, right next to TM.

To be fair, Glycine has been one of those mid-tier brands that was usually discounted, especially on the webz. I think that most ADs will begin deeper discounts fairly soon, but right now are holding on to their prices, since they don't want to take too much of a hit on their margins on stuff that they already own. I would be surprised if an email to an on-line dealer didn't result in a pretty good offer that the dealer doesn't want to advertise. The same would hold true for whatever B&M retailers that carry the brand, particularly now when the Swiss apparently can't give their watches away because of the overall market.

The problem in the future will be the ADs who will drop the brand, probably because Eyal and his cheerful catamite (to paraphrase Falstaff, if I be so bold), Invicter Ryan, will be selling Glycines on Urine with a joyful disdain of the brand's heritage, offering Lagunbolts for below dealer's cost at the Pony Farm. ADs tend to look down at this practice, as it obviously makes their existing stock worthless. The upshot will be the longterm death of the brand, which continue (if it continues at all) as a mere name on the dial. Eyal and his shills will keep devaluing the brand, until it becomes unprofitable to do so, and then it will die.

Yet another good name, dragged down by the mendancity of an upstart Panamanian.

Thanks, Wasp. Strangely none of their divers listed.

The wait continues.

With them you can't expected the unexpected. So far they've own or currently own.

TechnoMarine

S.Coifman (Still don't know if its a real or made up company)

Potger Pietri same as above ^

Now Glycine so yes it is possible their not done yet. God help as all
if they buy up Rolex (Smellody's worse nightmare), Seiko cause well
they use a lot of NHxxx movements or my worse nightmare Patek Philippe
even though I don't own one I still believe their the last remaining luxury
brand with value and history next to Rolex.

I don't think the real, actual watch world has much to worry about. IWG only has picked up failing companies; Invicta is still the festering carbuncle on the unwashed ass of the low end of the watch business. All the bought-and-paid-for "celebrity" endorsements and faux "achievements" can't wash the low-rent stink off 'em.

Invicta is shit, has been shit, will be shit. I'm really sorry for Glycine fans right now. I know I admired Glycine from afar, but never took the plunge. The only thing we can do for others is, like koi always does, get the facts and report 'em. Those who choose to ignore IWG's shoddy business practices will no doubt buy into the usual smoke, mirrors, and Flame Fusioned FUBARs.

Ha ha! I'm glad I flipped mine. It paid for 1/6 of my Tudor Black Bay. I did like the simple all lumens dial and the vanilla scented strap. I actually made $300 bucks on that watch.
