To be fair, Glycine has been one of those mid-tier brands that was usually discounted, especially on the webz. I think that most ADs will begin deeper discounts fairly soon, but right now are holding on to their prices, since they don't want to take too much of a hit on their margins on stuff that they already own. I would be surprised if an email to an on-line dealer didn't result in a pretty good offer that the dealer doesn't want to advertise. The same would hold true for whatever B&M retailers that carry the brand, particularly now when the Swiss apparently can't give their watches away because of the overall market.
The problem in the future will be the ADs who will drop the brand, probably because Eyal and his cheerful catamite (to paraphrase Falstaff, if I be so bold), Invicter Ryan, will be selling Glycines on Urine with a joyful disdain of the brand's heritage, offering Lagunbolts for below dealer's cost at the Pony Farm. ADs tend to look down at this practice, as it obviously makes their existing stock worthless. The upshot will be the longterm death of the brand, which continue (if it continues at all) as a mere name on the dial. Eyal and his shills will keep devaluing the brand, until it becomes unprofitable to do so, and then it will die.
Yet another good name, dragged down by the mendancity of an upstart Panamanian.
I find tv watches to be like the guys who raise their truck you need a fricken ladder to get in. It’s a attempt to look cool... that’s all.
