His contract with WatchBox wasn't renewed
Good for WatchBox. I mean, they’re fleecers and steel Rolex/PP/AP profiteers, so if TGV working for them would be their undoing, they’d get what they fucking deserve. But the Urine Gentry channel ailing and failing is good news all the same.
You are so right about Watchbox. I dont care how "successful" they are - they're one of the biggest gouge companies in the entire watch industry. Fucking joke, if you ask me.
As for this "Gentry"? Who cares? A sad, self-serving "goodbye" video ... on YouTube? This is the problem with this country: Instead of walking up to an actual watchmaker or someone in the business and picking their brains - or even just asking friends who like watches for info - people actually "rely" on the Gentrys and Archies and Time Tellers or any of the 150,000 other YouTube watch "experts." Plus, he said he's keeping his fleabag "channel" going somehow. So, it's a goodbye video from someone who isn't leaving? Even with this, he's playing his marks. Suckers.
I haven't watched the video, as I've said. Perhaps I should, in order to have any clue as to what's that lame David Niven wannabe really up to, but frankly, I've had a busy week, and I don't intend to spend my spare time on watching that cocksucker's insipid babble.
WatchBox and the likes of them are the scum of the Earth. I mean, honest buyers are lined up in queues for months or years, while these clowns send in one phony after another to the ADs, and hell knows if the ADs aren't on it as well. Heard of at least one case where an AD was a part of such a scheme, prioritizing buyers in exchange for hefty bribes. Some of the wares at such fleecing schemes (I refuse to call that a company or an enterprise) presumably come from independent fleecers who buy a watch just to flip it in a day, but they wouldn't manage a constant supply if they wouldn't be sending in the shill buyers.
