My latest card from 2017 has six security seals on the front (hard to see unless it is held just right).

My last card from 2007 when I retired is much the same as the one that jingles shows. Mine is red in color instead of blue because I retired from the AF Reserve, and it has the AF seal rather than the Navy's. Like cods, mine also has the six seals which are only really seen when the card is held at odd angles.

He may have been in the Navy, but he was NEVER an aviator, nor graduate of Annapolis, nor wounded during the 9/11 attack on the pentagon. He has a photo of a patch with a TA-7D aircraft which he claimed to have flown which would be quite interesting. The TA-7D was a 1 off prototype and never went into production as the TA-7D. As it says below, it was re-designated the TA-7K which for those who are from Loma Linda or went to Cal State Long Beach (not Annapolis), never flew that aircraft.

In 1979, LTV received a contract to convert an A-7D to two-seat TA-7D configuration. The TA-7D was a two seat advanced trainer with dual tandem seating, both crewmen being housed underneath a single canopy, the seat in the rear being raised so that the aircraft had a distinct humpbacked appearance. It was given a longer front and rear fuselage. The two-seater had full operational capability and could carry the same weapons that the single-seater could. The aircraft was later redesignated A-7K.

In addition to the prototype, Vought built 30 new A-7K two seaters. Unlike the Navy's TA-7Cs, the USAF's A-7Ks were new builds and were not conversions of earlier single-seaters. Delivery to ANG units began in 1981, and production of the A-7K ended in September of 1984.

The Hellenic Air Force acquired 60 A-7Hs and five TA-7Hs from LTV between 1975-1980 and then 50 A-7Es and 18 TA-7Cs from the US Navy's inventory in 1993-1994. Greece operated the Corsair IIs, in the form of the A-7E and TA-7C variants, and used these aircraft in the traditional tactical strike and ground attack roles for which it was designed. Greek A-7s were upgraded with many improvements, such as greater thrust from their svaglic TF-41 engines, upgraded avionics, radar, and full day/night capabilities. All Greek A-7s were programmed to be retired on October 17, 2014.

I am not certain at this point. I know he thinks poorly of the "hero". I thought of joining that "site" just to ask him how Annapolis compared to Cal State. Long Beach.

What a busy life! Manager of a record shop for several years, four years of college, and join the navy and get a scholarship to Annapolis, all before you reach 24!

I did want to thank a couple of members at wit for not buying into the bullshit that the "aviator" claims to be truth rather than his rather bad work of fiction. 6. Your father was never a Gunnery Sgt in the Marine Corp nor did he ever take the test to be a Gunnery Sgt. For the last time moron, the rank did not exist at the time. "The rank was replaced by technical sergeant in 1946 until restored in 1959, when the crossed rifles insignia were added to Marine chevrons." He was a Staff Sgt and you should have been more than satisfied with that. He was a Korean War vet and a Marine. You dishonor him with your lies.

7. Your father was not a pilot anymore than you were let alone as you claim, being a "Spad" pilot. You make excuses for changing a photo of an officer you claim is your father and photoshop out the ribbon bar of medals this person has earned and replace them with fake wings to make up a story for yourself.

8. As to this forum that you want so badly to return to, kiss my ass. You made personal attacks on members not once, not twice but numerous times. You are a taint on forums and should be banned from all of them.

9. You make a lot of bullshit claims over at wits end about how you were hounded about what you said about watches or anything else. The guy did some armchair analysis of my dad's USN dress blues photo, and claimed that the USN Wings of Gold dad was wearing were photoshopped; guys says the pixel background was different by the wings, or some such thing.
