Well Mr. Jingles, you have taken too many shots at this forum in the last 11 months since you were banned for the second time. You told stories here and you continue them at your new site. So be it but I do not like receiving emails about you from members there either blaming me for being a bully in regards to you or telling me how unpatriotic is was to ban you. A bit of a reality check for you and your buddies there. Your posts and claims are in this thread. Some sent to me by members of WIT who have questioned your many fraudulent claims. No one really gives a fuck if you were or were not in the service. No one is looking for your records because no one cares one way or another about you. But you continue to blame myself or the members of this forum for you own lies which have been exposed. Too many lies by you, too many inaccurate facts, too many claims tripped you up. So look in a mirror, that is the person to blame.

From your fraudulent claims about yourself and your exploits to new ones about your late father, you dug a hole for yourself. Hard for you to keep all of the lies straight mouse. From your post about flying an Air Force version of A7 Corsair (A7D) and then denying it or trying to make some excuse as to why you "might have flown a Navy A7 with Air Force avionics" to claiming only a few hundred hours in the F/A18 to having 3000 hours in them. Claiming to have been a pilot of a the Navy F/A18E which had not even been certified for Navy use until late 2001. By the way, the term "lawn dart" refers to the F-16 crashes while they were being tested, not an F/A18 crashing.

In 1979, LTV received a contract to convert an A-7D to two-seat TA-7D configuration. The TA-7D was a two seat advanced trainer with dual tandem seating, both crewmen being housed underneath a single canopy, the seat in the rear being raised so that the aircraft had a distinct humpbacked appearance. It was given a longer front and rear fuselage. The two-seater had full operational capability and could carry the same weapons that the single-seater could. The aircraft was later redesignated A-7K .

In addition to the prototype, Vought built 30 new A-7K two seaters. Unlike the Navy's TA-7Cs, the USAF's A-7Ks were new builds and were not conversions of earlier single-seaters. Delivery to ANG units began in 1981, and production of the A-7K ended in September of 1984.

You were banned twice (2x) by me, both times for attacking members here on the forum. The first time some of those members asked me to let you back into the forum so I did. The second time it took me 2 weeks to decide what I was going to do and asked members here for input. So you were banned for a second time. Did you tell your friends that you attacked John aka conjurer and when that personal attack post was removed you re-posted it at BDWF and then was banned there as well. Poor little mouse, everyone picks on him

You managed to get folks suspicious of you all by yourself and they contacted me and then they followed up. For the record, I could care less if you were in the service or not, nor what you did if in fact you did serve. I do care that you attacked members here in violation of the TOS and I had to warn you more than once to stop it. I do care that you were banned once before here because of your attacks on members and those members asked me to give you a second chance. I do care that you attacked a well respected member here on the forum and at two other sites. I do care that even though those posts were removed, you persisted in posting them to harm him and blame him for problems you were causing.

You are quite the piece of work Jingles. You make yourself out to be the hero, the center of attention and at the same time, the victim being harassed by a "stalker", the evil members of Watchlords and the it seems, the world in general. That is fine, I run the place so I will take the blame as the bad guy but I am going to give you some advice, according to Article 2 of UCMJ, "Retired members of a regular component of the armed forces who are entitled to pay" are covered by UCMJ which means it you are claiming medals or other things and it is not true, you can be court-martialed. I suggest you think about that. I am done with you jingles and so are members here.

I have until today refrained from doing much about you but your behavior strikes me less of an officer and more of some displaced watchgeek. As to Watchintyme, since that is where you currently hold court, I am glad to hear that many of them have decided to try other brands or have decided that some brands lie but at least they know what they are buying which was the original intent of this "hater" site. I have found one of the pics that Mort uses (after photoshopping) it is a Gulfstream G550 taking off from a runway in Bologna, Italy. The aircraft is registered to a GAMA aviation. It's registration number is MPBKI which means it is registered in the Isle of Man. I can't find the other picture, but based on the paint I would guess that it is N96UA which is registered in the US to Under Armour . I'll look some more later.

As to the SLUFF [or SLUF, if you prefer] D version, I don't recall ever claiming to have flown one before. However, I may have actually flown a modified D very briefly during my type training phase; it was rumored that some of the a/c we flew during that phase were old USAF "D" trainers with updated avionics. IF I said anything about "D" stick-time, it would have been in relation to that rumor, but again, I don't think I ever did.

(1) I actually retired as a CAPT(Select) from the USN; what that means is I was selected for O-6, but retired before my actual promotion date. But I never referred to myself as CAPT(Select), nor did I mention this selection for promotion to anyone, either HERE, @WF or @BDWF. (For the record, though, it states CDR/O-5, not O-6/CAPT, on my ID card, which is normal, because that was my rank at the time of my retirement.)

(2) I was an exchange officer with the Israeli Armed Forces for the better part of a year; as a Jew, it was a great source of pride and pleasure to have been able to do this, but I largely kept it to myself. I think I may have posted a picture of a flight jacket I wore over there, along with a watch of the same or similar color, but that's about as close as I came to mentioning it.

(3) I AM the recipient of the Legion of Merit. In point of fact, it was my RETIREMENT award, something that, in USN circles, is not at ALL an unusual award for an O-6 select. But even so, I have numerous friends who received that award as an O-5, so any blanket statement about who does and who doesn't get an award like that is a chancy thing. I received that LOM (which is what WE used to call it until just a few years ago) on the day I retired, and never got to wear it other than on the day it was pinned to me.


Maybe, maybe not but one cares one way or another but as I have stated, you were never an 0-6 Select.

Your claim about being proud about your military service may in part be true but you also attempt to use it like a bludgeon on those who do not think like you. You use it to make yourself better than others when in fact everyone puts a pair of pants on the same way. Everything is about poor old mort. There are many, many Vets on WL and here at WFN. Not one has ever mentioned as often as you do their time in the service. svaglic was a firefighter (Fire Chief) in the Army, Max has never spoken about his service, nor have many of the others. Only you talk about your 26 years of Military service over and over again. You remind me of a man named Mr. Johnson as he was my father's age. He told everyone all of the time he was in the Navy during WWII but he forgot that my father was served in WWII as did the fathers and in some cases, the mothers of all of the kids in the neighborhood. It is a watch forum, not a pissing contest on some military related board.

I was sent this link by two members of this forum pointing out that there is no reference to you between 2005-2007 as a Captain Select. I assume since it is an official navy site that they made a mistake of omission? Reality, you were never on the select list so why tell folks that you were?.

Hello, All (or at least those of you who have been posting here, hoping for some kind of interaction, ANY kind of interaction), please allow me to respectfully disagree with my friend, John/JAS, who started this thread several months ago.

DO NOT join watchlords OR watchforums, unless you're prepared to have a virtual dossier kept on you that contains anything you might have inadvertently posted that was incorrect, or something the owner considers subversive and an attack on the site, or ANYTHING AT ALL he feels he can use against you. I KNOW this because THAT's what he did to ME.

I was the highest "rank" one could hold over at WL, the "Asshat/Master of Time" designation. My reviews and vintage articles had their own byline at WL, and at one time, I was actually being considered to become the site's alternate administrator. Yet, despite all this, the paranoid who owns and operates both places kept his file updated on me; if I misquoted the NATO designation of an aircraft (which I once did, referring to the F-8 Crusader as the A-8), it was noted for use against me at a later date. (And it WAS used, lemme tell you!)

He even copied my introductory post over at Watchintyme, again looking for "inconsistencies," as he called them. (And, for reasons I will explain later, he found plenty of them.) But he did even better than THOSE things; he has at least one spy at watchlords, someone who monitors the morale and/or activity of those who participate, and if there's anything to report to Kim Un Koi, this guy does so. And how do I know THIS, you ask? Because, when I, out of pure frustration with the way I was being treated over there, wrote a PM that denigrated The Dear Leader, it was immediately forwarded to Alain, owner and administrator of watchlords, who immediately threw it back into my face, along with a collection of items he'd "sussed out" to prove I was not who and what I said I was.

When I owned up to and apologized for the attacking tone of the PM, his reply was chilling, even to me, a 26-year Veteran of the Cold War: My attack on him was actually an attack on the SITE, he said, if you can believe that. Oh well, if Hitler could -- and DID -- once say, "I am Germany," I suppose it's okay if koimaster says, "I am watchlords."


Well, all, in the coming days and weeks, it's my intent to spell out everything that happened over @WL (and @WF, too) that led to my "downfall." It's going to take some time and more than a few entries, but at least some of you will no doubt detect the ring of truth in what I say.

I had long suspected an unpleasant undercurrent over at watchlords, but had written it off to the anger one feels when one is unfairly banned, as many of the members were at the original Watchgeeks site. However, instead of fading away, this undercurrent got more and more pungent, especially after I'd gotten banned there and then reinstated with little or no explanation. In the end, I found out what the stench over there was all about. "The Original and Only Uncensored Watch Forum" was neither.

You haven't a clue about (1) this discussion, and (2) America. I'm sick of the billowing garbage that emerges from that lump of excrement between your ears, day after fucking day, year after year. Fine, the POL site is all yours now, every last one of you piddling fucks. You can circle jerk and agree with each other all day and be happy in your childish little view of the world. A big part of the puzzle to me was the reaction. "Uncensored" is not synonymous with "infinite patience" and if one craps on the coffee table in someone else's home often enough he'll not be invited back. When such things transpire the normal reaction isn't to go to all the neighbor's houses bitching that he's been asked to leave and blaming the dude that noticed the last steaming heap. If said neighbors didn't have a negative appraisal before the unsolicited rants they'll rapidly develop one.

I thought Mort was allright insofar as Air Corpsicle being (to me at least) an obvious joke and service as a Naval Aviator intact but embellished which I take as not reaching the level of fabrication from whole cloth. I also write off the attempt to bludgeon other members - this forum is, after all, the distilled essense of members that bludgeon back. But past history is one thing and the reaction to events is another. The personal and often vitriolic responses, ostensibly inititiated by a simple title change and perhaps whether or not invoking Farrakhan is inherently political, is striking and strongly suggestive that everybody else's appraisal was right all along.

Wow, what a deal you went through. I’m glad you are here and on WIT. Mr. Jingles was also there that day. He had to be rescued from a slab of cement on top of him and was in the hospital for over two years for surgery’s and learning how to walk again.
It’s amazing the small world we are in, you two might have passed each other in the halls there and now you guys are here sharing watches.

Gents, I don't know why our dual-citizenship colleague (above) chose to mention my day on 9/11; after all, the leader of that "other site" repeatedly accuses me of talking too much about my experiences from that day. This was, of course, before he set out to prove that I was a complete fake in all the things I've said about myself. And he banned me so that I had no way of defending against the untruths being spread about me. He claimed that there was a master list of those hurt on 9/11, a list that "a friend" of his had access to, and -- surprise, surprise! -- my name wasn't on it. He also claimed that no one with my name received the Legion of Merit as an award for the last several years; his source? Another unnamed "friend." I could go on and on, but I think you can see a pattern that has been developed and repeated where I'm concerned: 'get him! He's a fake! And the evidence? Whole cloth.

Like you, Joel, I'll do this as quickly as I can: there is no 'master list' of people wounded on 9/11, and if there were, access to it would be severely restricted to those with a need to know, and certainly not available to some "friend" of a guy with an axe to grind. Additionally, I have opted to keep my records -- medical & otherwise -- away from release to any entity, unless I specifically allow it. Bottom line: my medical and personnel records are not accessible to anyone without my permission. But that hasn't stopped their 'peerless leader' over at that "other site." He's now been claiming that I was never in the USN at all, much less served as an aviator for 26 years. The genesis of that claim goes back to a time when I referred to the USN's Crusader aircraft as the "A-8," vice the "F-8," which is its actual nomenclature. The reason for this is simple: it was a brainfart. I flew both the A-7 and the F/A-18, and it's easy to make an error like that, especially since the F-8 was long gone by the time I strapped on my first A-7; the only USN people flying it were a couple of reserve squadrons, and they were using the virtually-unknown photo-recon version.

But this 'explanation' has gone long enough. I am who and what I have always said I am, and no number of nebulous "friends" with their fabricated BS can ever change that. Oh, and to clarify DP's post above: I was in and out of hospitals for a period of about 28 months after being injured on 9/11. I won't detail my injuries here -- why give my enemies more ammunition for new attacks? -- but I required 17 surgeries, about a third of which dealt with facial-cranial issues, and the rest were mostly orthopaedic in nature. I did have to learn how to walk again, among other things, and it was a long, very depressing time, during which I was too physically restricted to go to my friend Vince's funeral, not to mention my own father's funeral in January of '02. I finally retired from the USN in late 2007, and I was awarded the Legion of Merit, mainly, I think, because I managed to survive and come back to duty in a limited status; unfortunately, though, my flying days were over for good.

So that's it, guys. I kept quiet about my "9/11 stuff" yesterday because old "what's-his-name" at that "other site" said I talked about it way too much, which I probably did, truth to tell. ( The VA shrinks have ALL told me that I need to tell everyone about it so that it never happens again, which is what I fear most.) Of course, I never thought I was telling my story to a group of mental patients, but live & learn. 'Fearless leader' says I'm engaging in "stolen valor," a very serious, even libelous claim. But that's how far this guy's willing to go to "prove" he's right. I try not to deal with crazy people, but this is getting ridiculous...

And veterans can usually spot the fakers from a mile away. I've heard tales of swift, and mightily deserved, justice being metered out.

My father was in Vietnam; got drafted with a semester to go so made a deal to volunteer if they'd let him finish. So he was in for 3 years. He was in the 23rd Infantry. He carried an M-60. Also spent some time in those tunnels. He enjoyed his military career but Nixon froze pay raises so he got out. Bronze star, purple heart, assorted other medals and that combat service badge that nobody wanted to know about when he got out.

(full disclosure; I had one semester of ROTC but it was too late to contract me so the officers pushed me to go OCS. Sgt. Major Verdugo saw my flat feet and felt I'd have a hard time getting in. Then I got accepted to graduate school and that was that. Floundering around in grad. school was a waste of time; I should've gotten my butter bar.)

As some here may know by now, I will always try to see or find good things in people, even in spite of obvious failure. Maybe because while not being a total wanker, I will certainly not call myself free of sins or fault. But this guy by now really leaves me lost.
