Yes, and preferably to one that is indexed for, you know, timing things.

Maybe have TWO bezel inserts.

Doing it right can be rewarding. But that one time your attention should lapse...and your finished product is juuuuut about spot on... but the more you look the more you notice that, yep - it’s off. Only slightly. About one millimeter. The illuminated nib in the little triangle lines up neither at 12:00, nor 12:01 (or 11:59) - but right in damn between each.

If you don’t fix it... and you insist on not looking away from the nearly-aligned bezel insert, you’ll go so damn cookoo bananas crazy that you’ll eat a back-yard gopher. It’s a scientific fact.

Great idea, save a lot of work and potential case nicks rather than taking the bezel off and doing it from the backside. I'll have to try that on future projects.
