That looks great as well.

Yours?

No it is not. Just a photo I found on the web regarding watch mods.

Why make a good watch look like a Doxa SUB? Illogical.
I like the look of the DOXA SUBs - I don't like the "Invicta like" history that surrounds modern day DOXAs.

I would rather mod a Seiko SKX or Turtle to look like the DOXA SUB than own a DOXA SUB - but that's just me.

I have never been known for being logical :dssd:

Not a bad looking Soxa mod. I'll probably do one of these this year as my first project watch if I can source the parts I want. I like the yellow dialed mod much better that you posted. It's sourcing that bezel that's going to be a chore I'm guessing.

Harold (yobookies) has several

https://theyobokies.com/?mod=product&se ... ail&id=713

https://theyobokies.com/?mod=product&se ... id=711#dh2

And Dagaz is a good source for SOXA (Seiko DOXA parts)

https://www.dagazwatch.com/apps/webstor ... query=SOXA

(I have ordered from both and they provide great service and quality parts)

Have fun

Thanks for the links. I don't see the actual Doxa style Bezel though. Many inserts yes, but not the Bezel itself. I may have missed it.

Here's a SOXA bezel for a turtle

https://theyobokies.com/?mod=product&se ... ail&id=682

https://theyobokies.com/?mod=product&se ... ail&id=684

This is as close to the DOXA style bezel for the SKX007/9 that I've been able to find

I see you've researched all these parts before, you're a wealth of info today. Thanks for your help. Whenever I decide to create a Soxa, I will name it after you  :fdfd:

Hey Labman, since you seem to know where all the parts are for mods, where can I find those pre-cut 3M doubled sided tape for bezel inserts? I've searched everywhere.

Almost all of the vendors that I have purchased bezel inserts from have included the 3M adhesive.

I typically don not use the entire adhesive, instead I cut it into smaller more manageable pieces, it is REALLY some STICKY stuff.

Some vendors will even supply 2 pre-cuts since they know all installations don't go as planned the first time.

Here is an ebay source if they don't come supplied with the bezel insert purchase.

Thanks man, much appreciated. I thought it would be fairly simple to source but this shit is like black market heroin
