The Allman Family Revival is a celebration of the life, spirit, and music of Gregg Allman, hosted by his son, Blues Music Award-winning artist Devon Allman and anchored by his group, The Devon Allman Project.
That would have a been a cool show to see…. So, the lead is no longer occupying a political office?
Peter Garret has always been an environmentalist and joined the Oz Labor Party to try and work on conservation issues. He never got much traction though as they used him as a pin-up boy to improve their environmental cred but didn't give him much in return. He left after a couple of years.Nuvolari wrote: ↑November 29th 2022, 4:32pmThat would have a been a cool show to see…. So, the lead is no longer occupying a political office?
Also, whatever happened to that Aussie-Scot Colin Hay…? Does he still tour? It seems like some time ago he was singing acoustic versions of some Men At Work songs.
I saw Hay last month as part of Ringo's All Star Band. (It was Ringo's last show of the tour) Down Under and Who Can it be Now were just as the radio played them.bedlam wrote: ↑November 29th 2022, 5:51pmPeter Garret has always been an environmentalist and joined the Oz Labor Party to try and work on conservation issues. The Oils concert was fantastic. It's their last ever tour, so won't see them play together again.
Haven't seen Hay (Men-At-Work) playing anywhere for a long time. Don't know if they are still a thing or not.
It was. 2 1/2 hours. Jimmy Hall from Wet Willie was just one of the guest players. Grace Bowers is a teen guitarist who was also incredible. The band was fantastic, and the other guest artists definitely added to the show. A great tribute to Gregg Allman and the Allman Bros. Band.Nuvolari wrote: ↑November 29th 2022, 4:27pmThis sounds awesome!Datsun240Z71 wrote: ↑November 29th 2022, 12:38am
