Dead from covid.

No cause of death was confirmed, but TMZ reported that Meat Loaf—whose real name was Marvin Lee Aday—died after falling “seriously ill” with COVID-19 in recent weeks. According to the site, he canceled a business meeting this week for a planned reality show named after his hit “I’d Do Anything for Love (but I Won’t Do That).

RIP, big guy. One of my favorites.

Reading some of the reporting for the cause of death, it appears that Mr. Loaf was an anti-vaxxer and anti-mask, and possibly passed due to COVID. I really don't care about the possible irony; everyone who dies of this fucking disease is a terrible loss, sometimes just to their immediate family and friends, or possibly to an entire generation who loved their work.

Fuck COVID for taking away so many of us.

Listening to one of his albums right now. Absolutely one of my favorites is "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights".
Indeed Covid has taken many, many away from us.

Loved his album "Bat Out of Hell".

Two out of Three Ain't Bad was an awesome song. That's what you played for the girl you just scored with after listening to "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights".
