Here's a comparo for you: Tooter Black Bays are amazing, but expensive. Seiko 5er Sports are shit, but cheap. If you can afford Tooters, buy them. You can go into an AD and get one without having to blow the AD manager. If you can't afford a Black Bay, save up until you can, then buy one. Watchlords should do some side-by-side comparisons: this Tudor Black Bay against the Seiko 5 Sports. Newbies just look at appearances and figure why not go with the cheaper watch. Or, they look at the brand name and buy it sight unseen with zero appreciation for what they have purchased except they read in GQ that Tudor's were cool.
