New Invicta sized Rolex

Post by smellody » November 1st 2022, 6:02pm

Ok you girly 👧 36mm wearing horologists, Rolex has upped the game. Rolex just introduced a 50mm, 36,090 ft Sea-Dweller.

To alleviate those of you with limp wrists, the new model is constructed out of titanium.

Am I serious? Yes
Am I poking fun? Yes, somewhat
Do I want one? Yes, and willing to part with my left nut (it is the one that usually hurts and is sensitive anyways)

Haters feel free to chime, but without doubt Rolex remains king!

Haters going to hate! Yet still secretly obsess. And dream about keeping one in a watch pod in their kangaroo pouch.

I love it. I was considering picking up an ultra deep, but this is better.
I want to see one of these on your wrist Juan!

I bet it'll look a lot like my Panerai 305.

No it doesn't! That case provides the rigidity for a 11,000 meter depth rating.

You and your pal underscore's fancy dress watches may be Purdy, but I'll be God damned if they can go deep. (Conjurbator will know what I'm talking about!)

The proportions seem off to me. Must be a form follows function deal to enable the ridiculous depth rating. Tell you what though, if I were going that deep and had to wear a wristwatch that would for sure be my first choice. Although it’s not good looking or sensible it’s a lot better than that nearly illegible CW, IMO.

I can't wait till Rolex becomes the first watchmaker to have REAL moon rock dials after paying the astronauts to smuggle some rocks back after they land on the moon in 2030.

Artemis has been rolled out YET AGAIN in anticipation of a launch Nov. 14. Fingers and toes crossed. Come on, Boeing. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.
