Laura and Darren Seaman, from Southend, were attacked in Mayfair in central London in the early hours of Sunday morning after a meal out with friends.

The mum-of-two, 45, suffered cuts and bruising to her face and neck as she was knocked unconscious.

The couple say the gang attempted to steal Darren’s expensive Rolex.

Strong arm and armed robberies targeting people wearing jewelry and Rolex / gold watches have significantly increased across the country. Victims are often robbed of their wallets or purses as well.

A friend of my family's was recently robbed of her wedding ring and purse while she was waiting for her car at a valet stand outside of a downtown restaurant.

It's a jungle out there.
