not a familiar as a couple of folks here with this brand but that appears to be a replica. That model tudor has a 2824 movement with decoration. Buying the seller is taking a look at references on forums

Go to the seller's name on TZ, view their forum posts and their profile, see how many sales they have over the course of time, ask for references if they don't have a lot of sales. just check out how they behave in their posts and see how many posts they have particularly sales posts. Compare their pricing to other listings of the same watch, if the price is too good to be true it's false. If the watch comes with box and papers ask for a photo of them too, ask them for a photo of the watch with a banana next to it.

The movement looks similar to one in my Hydronaut, which was verified authentic by a Rolex trained watchmaker. I only have one picture of it but if you compare small details it appears the one in question is decorated and configured similarly. What appears goofy to me is the end links worked into that leather strap. Could be legit but why would they bother with end links at all? Checking the seller out is key and this watch without bracelet should be under 2K. The watchseller has a black dial on bracelet for $2190.

if someone is bugging to purchase it that hard it would be a red flag to me. watchrecon.com

type in tudor grantour , use the drop box to determine how many days to go back. 4-5 of them right now. where is this one listed at

I would pass and look more on watchrecon.com
The watch you want will turn up and looking at watchrecon will expose you to more of what's out there and you will see many decent deals. It's easier to check out sellers there too.
In memory of TB/Phfluff, since he isn’t here to continue to give his praise, I will share it for him.

The seller says: These are going for 1600 pounds but i'm selling mine for 750.....the site is loaded with fake Armanis....check out chrono24.com as another source of trusted sellers although it is primarily dealers not private sales...

I have a personal policy for watches in this range: no box, no papers, no buy. It may sound trite, but it works for me. My other policy is equally simple: patience, always patience. Pass on this one. Something's NKR (Not Kwite Right)...hang in there, dbd.

they sell for around £1000 thats him making it sound extra better then it is, i cant take the chance with that sort of money which is why i asked for some advice, the movement looks good its just the bezel putting me off and the fact he's got no paper work for it, it seems to me if your going to buy a $4000 watch you would keep the sales receipt and paper work.....well i think as no one can give me a definite answer one way or the other ill have to leave it, lets hope iv not let a good buy get away..lol

You come here asking about a watch that is posted on a site you admit has more then a few reps. You say no paper work or boxes... The guy selling is pressuring you to pay up.
