Boxes with Pictures (not that there is anything wrong with that)

Post by smellody » January 28th 2025, 8:55pm

Boxes ๐Ÿ“ฆ and papers doesn't deter me from a deal. Are they nice to have? Hell yes. I have plenty of specimens with their original boxes and papers a d probably even more without.

My most recent, exceptional by my own account, Tudor Submariner snowflake โ„๏ธ came as watch only.

As you may have guessed, I also collect Rolex and Tudor brochures. I actually look for the box insert brochures and have been on the hunt for a 70's Tudor version with red integrated bracelet pictured. I do not however, look for boxes (take up space and don't really care).

One night while battling insomnia, I searched for the brochures and found an auction for boxes and insert from a 70's Tudor.

I won ๐Ÿ† the auction! (I must admit, for a song.)

Fast forward a few weeks and my package ๐Ÿ“ฆ arrived from the land of Kangaroo scrotum. (Toebee assures me that the removal of these ball sacks is preventative and does not harm the Roo.)

That stripe looks familiar!

This will be perfect for my Snowflake โ„๏ธ (watch).

Many of my little friends are photographed ๐Ÿ“ธ in the booklet!

Some of you may remember that my bigblock originally had the dive bezel.

I have the NOS dive bezel, but haven't had it installed yet.

Thanks Tobee and Carl for the gift ๐ŸŽ from down under!
