New Grand Seiko Sports Watches

Post by koimaster » August 14th 2022, 10:19am

Putting an end to our live coverage of the main watch event of the year, Watches and Wonders Geneva 2022, we talk with the President of Grand Seiko Europe, Frédéric Bondoux. First of all, he will explain why it was important for the Japanese watchmaker to be present among its peers at this watch fair, and why it matters regarding the brand’s international strategy. Second, M. Bondoux will explain what Evolution 9, the new direction of the brand in terms of design and wearability, means in general. Then, we’ll move to discover the 3 new sports watches launched within Evolution 9, a pair of sporty GMTs (SBGE283 & SBGE285), a robust diver (SLGA015) and a pair of Spring Drive GMT Chronographs (SBGC249 & SBGC251). Finally, Frédéric Bondoux will talk about Grand Seiko Europe and the evolution of the brand in this historically competitive market.

A sports watch, a diver, and a GMT, all of them looking stunning, isn't too much for me.
Meritocracy: the privilege, wealth and advancement of those who chose their parents wisely.
Capitalism: a cult that promised to do good for the worst reasons.
Nationalism: a profound longing to go back to a past that never existed.
