ShopNBC - Todays Top Value the Ronco Rotisserie Oven

Post by Horse Feathers » June 9th 2011, 7:42pm

Given (Bichon Daddy) Larry (aka Rotisserie Chicken Larry) recent douchebaggery banning people from his site, I thought I would bring this thread back from the dead

Chicken mans posts now carry the Bichon user name

=============================================================
I guess when you're the number four home shopping channel celebrating 20 years its natural to be excited to offer for the first time " The Ronco Rotisserie" oven

http://www.shopnbc.com/

Shame they dont have an audience to shout at the top of their lungs "Set it an forget it".

Next week Daniel Green will be hosting a Outdoor Show ,they will be proudly showcasing the Ron Popeil Pocket Fisherman

Maybe SNBC will follow up with the legendary Ronco Six-Star Cutlery set - read the Amazon reviews where people complain about receiving cheap, Chinese-made goods...

...sound familiar?

Excuse me....have any of you ever purchased one??? My wife and I got one 8 years ago...and I use it at least once a week. I use it for chickens mainly, and mine can do two at a time. I have done ribs in it when it was too hot outside to crank up my smoker...and it does a fantastic job. You do know this item is always at QVC and Emeril has something similar on HSN. What is the problem??????
Why do you even watch what Shopnbc is offering if you hate them so much????? I have heard of all sorts of fetishes...guess they need to name a new one for some of you....

Ok, we must all be careful now because Emeril has something similar and if anyone can show me one in use in one of Emeril's restaurants I'll buy one of his.

Emeril, like any other person on the tele will slap there name on anything for the right price. Look at Skelton, he tagged himself for life with an Invicta tat and all he has to show for himself now is the repo men coming to tow his home away unless he can move before they get there.

I assume this post is sarcastic. One of my wifes at some time bought me one of those oven things. What a colossal POS

Ya know I once had the attitude that what we say and how we say might make us all look like lunatical crazie people but I was brow beat into the entire we can say what we want to say because we can so all I will tell you is, you have a point and its a point I have tried to make myself but come on now we can cut loose sometimes can't we?

Let's see, where do I start

1) Excuse me....have any of you ever purchased one???

No need to excuse yourself, and to answer your question, no I have not and would not consider doing so

2) My wife and I got one 8 years ago...and I use it at least once a week. I use it for chickens mainly, and mine can do two at a time.

Wow (8 years * 52 weeks * 2 chickens), I now see the need for a dedicated appliance but in my home we like variety.

3) You do know this item is always at QVC and Emeril has something similar on HSN. What is the problem??????

Seems like I touched a nerve.... make yourself a fine meal and relax, may I suggest Chicken

4) Why do you even watch what Shopnbc is offering if you hate them so much????? I have heard of all sorts of fetishes...guess they need to name a new one for some of you....

It was prominently displayed on their landing page, required 10 seconds of my time. As for fetishes, you admit to "doing two chickens at a time" Image

I'd much rather have a Ronco rotisserie oven, 6 star knife set, pocket fisherman, or even a can of hair than I would a Subaquanoma IV. IMO Ron Popeill and his clan come off like a combination Mother Teresa/Gandhi/Buddha when compared to A.L. Laylo and MD.
Still, he's no Creflo Dollar.

Let's hope Slop doesn't do a TTV with Ronco's spray-on hair (for the follically-challenged).

That could really arouse passions.

My kids gave me the hair one Christmas. Doesn't work well.
