As a caveat, someone just offered to trade this watch for my Marathon JSAR. Thought I would see what the watch was like and post about it.

Pretty cool, a bit Enebbi. More interesting than the Marathon IMO. Good call.

Still have not made up my mind about it. Marathon is large & dependable tool watch with a solid quartz movement. The Gruppo kind of looks like a 55 fathom seiko and every other blancpain homage out there.

The Marathon is a good watch. This trade is a gud Wartche. Tell the guy to go pound sand up his fucking ass.

It is, it seems pretty niche. The GG seems more versatile outside of emergency service scenarios.
