The Frogman still doesn't have a simple EDT timing subdial or a depth gauge, yet for some reason Casio put a tide indicator on it. Its more suited to fishing than diving.

Apparently this one does something tricky with the hands. The hour hand hides under the minute hand when in EDT mode. Pretty cool. You're right though, it's weird it doesn't have a depth gauge when so many other watches do.
