It's like dating the hot redhead that all your friends warned you about. Sure, she's probably dynamite in bed, but the agita she'll cause ain't worth it.

I don't think the Pantor is going to cure my craving. Not even close when I look at them side by side. Oh well, I'm not one to jump into this on impulse.....

Get a Seiko turtle or mini turtle and do a Yobokies dial, hands and bezel mod. He has this color.
Here are a sample of Soxa mods, some are the teal blue.

That's an idea for sure. I was looking as some SOXA mods for ideas the other day wondering if that would cure my lust as well. It's pretty hard to find the Doxa parts to do the mod (Bezel and chapter ring) Thanks.

Re: I'd be lying if ....
I like Yobokies because they are built better, Dagaz’s bezels are just a sticker that scrapes and peels easy.
Here is my Zimbe mini turtle that I modded with a Yobokies bezel, not just the bezel insert, I did the whole bezel swap.

Re: I'd be lying if ....
Might I suggest:

The Seiko Ice Diver- I know you have a current cobb up your ass for Seiko due to the prices, but I like this one a lot- exclusive to the US, Sumo 44mm case, the nice 3 link bracelet with diver extension, Caliber 6R35, with a 70-hour power reserve; SPB179. Reasonably priced at a time they've gone nuts.
Available here https://mrjewelersonline.com/products/s ... gLtn_D_BwE for South of a grand.

I've seen that exact model around the interwebz lately and I must say it's gorgeous. Must be my favorite color combo and the new waffle dials by Seiko are freakin killer.3Flushes wrote: ↑December 31st 2020, 10:01amMight I suggest:

Very tempting, thanks Alian, but I'm just not into Orange dials that much. Someone should snap this up though from Lords, that's a great deal.koimaster wrote: ↑January 8th 2021, 11:04pmYo Jim

I'm definite it's the case shape and layout that has me wanting for this style. Today, I run across this and start drooling again.

Amazon has a version under 400
Not sure of the lug width... Some sites claim it is 20 others 22 mm....20 might make it top heavy
I have a cushion case Swiss movement for sale too

Re: I'd be lying if ....
Was looking into some JDM alternatives to the Ice Diver- shopping in japan has banners up that say they are closed 'for the new year holiday' and won't be shipping anything until 11/1/21 which I figured was a typo, however, they have not responded to emails and do appear closed. Don't order without confirming they're open and shipping unless you want to tie up your money for a year.bbattle wrote: ↑January 9th 2021, 4:00pmSeiko Turtle, easy choice.

I hope they mean January 11. I think that's how they write dates in other countries.

Re: I'd be lying if ....
The rest of the civilized world does the dates as day/month/year. Makes no sense to me but that's our 1/11/2021
