I was curious to see how much overlap there might be between all the "Best Dive Watches of 2023-2024" so I did some searching.

First off is the Robb Report with the usual Rolex, Breitling, Omega, Ulysse Nardin, Blancpain, etc., etc. but there was also something mere mortals could afford, the Tudor Black Bay Ceramic Blue at only $5,150


The blue dial may be a "reliably visible color under water" but the invisible bezel markers may mean the death of a diver actually needing to see it. But who are we kidding? We drive an F-250 to the grocery store to pick up kombucha.

I guess if you are trying to dive as deep as you can, strapping this bad boy might get you there faster:


unfortunately, it lightens your wallet considerably.

And why not look your best AFTER the dive? Just strap on the Ulysse Nardin Diver Atoll; stunning with almost a carat of diamonds.


The Blancpain not only has a full calendar complication but a moonphase to boot. On a dive watch, how avant garde can the Swiss get. Wait, don't answer that.


I wonder how this Panerai ceramic watch compares to my Omega MoonSwatch.

The Robb Report is the kind of magazine you leave on the coffee table in order to convince a lower-class girl from the office that she should suck your cock. I don't often rely on it for wartche advice.

I like those, especially the Submariner. I don't fancy the last two. I reckon Banned will like them.

The DeepSea and the Blancpain are least useable....but that is mostly a collection of wank watches.

The bezel on the DeepSea is near identical to the OS300 in readability and feel. It's absolutely superb.

That gold deepsea and the Ressence I would rock on a dive in a second. Perfect all around watches for a trip around the BVIs.

The Panerai is kinda cool for some reason. DeepSea obviously swank. The Tudor could be at least ok if the bezel markings were not so so indistinct. The rest are ok for someone else one supposes.

They're all pretty stupid IMO.
