Happy Thanksgiving folks.

Happy Thanksgiving Lords! This is my last week of freedom before I go into the service department (surgery) next week. I won’t be eating a whole lot afterwards - but I’m sure as hell gonna eat like a king today. A fat juan!

I hope you all over-indulge with people you like!
And it wouldn’t be a holiday if I didn’t share some automotive history with people who prefer I do not…

It is interesting that Studebaker had been in business since 1852 making horsefull carriages before also making a name for itself in the 20th century manufacturing the newfangled horseless carriages.

In 1958 they entered into a distribution agreement with Mercedes-Benz to use Studebaker’s dealer network to peddle their post-war, German come-back cars. Or would they be Bach?

By 1962 they had stopped making cars all together and the firm eventually reached the end of the road in 1966.
