This is an old watch, now.
It was a gift from my parents from around 1993? They won it in some sort of fundraiser private auction sponsored by Nordstrom. Newcomer TechnoMarine was heralded as a fancy new watch ‘manufacture’… and, oddly (to me at the time) they made a big deal that it featured a highly-precise *quartz* Japanese movement.

But 200M, a chronograph, and an adjustable bezel seemed cool to me. Also, it was the first watch I had ever owned with such a “bold” dial color, though I did really like the waffle pattern.
At the time, they were supposed to be a somewhat expensive watch.

However, this watch is a bit like the infamous Maserati BiTurbo… High end? Lots of potential? I mean… I guess so. But with time and confusion they lost their way…

Unlike any BiTurbo, though - this watch has never failed to proceed.
But for whatever reason like the Maserati it is only likable rather than lovable.
