^^That Ball is very well executed - with the very rare feature of perfectly sized hands that actually reach the minute track.

Started with last nights superbly illuminated Team Earth Han Solo signed something or other and landed with a million mile Rolax from back when 36mm was a pretty damn big wartch.

If you have not seen it - the closing laps of the 1979 French Grand Prix are absolutely sensational. Some of the best ever from the archaic days of media coverage.

René Arnoux and Gilles Villeneuve duke it out hammer-and-tongs for, of all things, second place.

I haven’t changed watches but the lighting is better.

Also, who doesn’t love Juan Manuel Fangio? Here he is leading in his Maserati over Mike Hawthorn’s Ferrari in 1953 at Reims.

Also, I got some new comfortable anti-dress shoes. But not dress shoes.

Also, black rubber souls are sure to annoy the more finicky inclined, so perhaps not boating shoes (though slip-resistant).

So what the hell are they?

Technically speaking, they are the most damn comfortable shoes in the history of shoes.

That’s what!
