Cool things from Japan in 1975 include the innovative twin-can 3 valve-per-cylinder Civic engine that Honda deployed long before Nissan (1988) and also Mercedes-Benz (1996) used a similar path for their production engines due to the combination of increased power over a 2v engine, increased economy over a 4v engine, and a reasonably generous torque curve.

The Asian take on The Cricket… though no hack or hand wind on the automatic movement. The crown winds the alarm, the 2:00 pusher sets the date, though when pulled ‘activates’ the alarm.

I don’t know. It might even wake you up.
But, if you gotta be somewheres - like on time for a legitimate business meeting with people who don’t want to be just waiting around, or whatever, you know… I’d still recommend having the front desk call your room at 5:30, 5:45, 6:15 and 6:45a.m., just to be safe.
