But back when the Targa Florio was held, a lot of people were made aware of the long forgotten island of Sicily. Think of it more like spare socks for the boot. We did.

In 1966 the Targa was won by Porsche, yet again, but this time with a Carrera 6. And here is a Carrera 6 in it’s natural wild habitat of Laguna Seca:

Headed out to the Xmas tree farm that has nobles for $30.

I enjoyed the car racing pics, Nuvolari. As an avid watcher of pro cycling, I do understand a lot of the tactics employed by race cars. Doesn't make watching the races on tv any more exciting, though. The pros have it down to such a science it's up to the pit crews to decide a race outcome.

No. Just a Facebook marketplace find. We've gone there four of the last five years.

Nuvolari's grandma had nearly a full beard and was a hot box. He licked how her mustache tickled his check.

Yeah Nonni was a beautiful broad - though her legs were surprisingly hairy.
