Going w/ a 1911 chrono for work today..

The 1935 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900A featured a 2.9 litre straight eight .

This was constructed with two blocks of 4 cylinders with a nondetachable head, a central drive to the camshafts and two small capacity superchargers for each block of four cylinders.

The rear suspension was a transaxle with swing axles and a transverse leaf spring.

Nineteen.Thirty.Five

It went on to dominate the Mille Miglia.

However… it was not an AUTOMATIC.
