Is it an original owner watch if it was passed down 2 generations?
Anyway the grandson trusted me with this 1966 Ref 6239 to prep and sell.
His grandfather bought it to calculate the speed of trains at his work for the railroad.

Such provenance - I can’t imagine selling such an item, though, “to each their own..”. I guess watches ain’t his thing? Once sold he can buy as much pasta as he can stand!
