Starting off my weekend w/ one of my favorite Hammy chronos.. For later this afternoon & the UT-Colorado State FB game...Hook 'em Horns baby!!..

It’s my dad’s 95th birthday today! Or it would be, if he were alive.

I went out to the Blackhawk Museum (where I used to be a docent) and learnt their display has shrunk considerably.

I did see one hand-built saloon that was in a particularly appalling shade of a ‘colour’ which I normally like.
Now I have a little time to kill before I meet up with my daughter, Teacher Cate, so I set up shop in a park lot near the museum. Who’s gonna tell me I can’t?

No one.
So, I opened the ice chest a made a little snack, poured a drink (soda), and set up the chair and brought my book. Now I can read and listen gypsy guitar et. al. cranking pretty loud because… again, who’s gonna complain?

“Excuse me, uh, yes… that music… uh, what is that, an accordion? Well, it’s a little ‘loud’…”.
As my dad used to say, “…meh, fuck ‘em.”
